New Years Eve Party

They boys had a great time playing with their horn blowers and poppers celebrating New Year's at the Polynesian dance party. Monty loved dancing and showing off his moves and Kit loves throwing the balloons.

Christmas Presents 12-25-08

Once they got going we found ourselves in a whirlwind of wrapping paper. They loved their toys from everyone. Kit was great at ripping off the paper this year. It also helps having a bigger brother show you the way. What was funny though is right after they'd opened their presents they went right back to playing with the balloons we'd gotten them the day before.

Christmas Day

It took some convincing to get the boys to open presents since they would much rather play the race car game on Colton's i-phone.

Christmas Eve Nativity

This is Lamont and Kiteona playing in the Nativity. They were a shepherd and a wise man, but both of them thought they were princesses. They loved seeing the lifesize figures at the Barney's Barn and loved petting the real live donkey!

Faaaliga and the AhQuin family were the entire entertainment. Faaaliga did the Haka, coconut show, and the fire knife dance He even sang a Samoan song for the whole ward. The AhQuins did Hawaiian chanting, hawaiian hula, and tahitian. Just before starting the fireknife show Faaaliga ripped off his lava lava to reveal his really short lava so he could dance better, but the crowd all gasped because they weren't sure what was under there. I even saw some Mom's cover their kids eyes! :) Both our families were also in charge of all the food. Faaaliga cooked a pig in the pit and more.

Kit was fine getting up on Santa's lap when he saw that you got a candy cane for doing so, but once he got the candy he wanted nothing more to do with Santa. Durning the luau show he founds a little girl of about 6 in front of the stage and sat in her lap the whole time. He wouldn't be coaxed out of her lap and even wanted her to hold him after it was over.

Monty was very hesitant to sit on Santa's lap. He wouldn't go until after Kiteona had his turn. He was quick to get off again too. He sure enjoyed the following luau though. He danced his heart out in front of everyone.
